Born and raised in Minnesota, Travis "TJ" Johnson has experienced the thrill of the outdoors his entire life.  TJ considers himself blessed to have a father who introduced him to hunting and fishing at a very early age.  There are two things that TJ loves to do:  spend time with his wife Jen and son's Caden and Colton, and hunt.  Over the past 23 years TJ has traveled all over the US and Canada to pursue his passion and obsession of hunting.  He has been blessed with harvesting numerous record class big game species.

TJ's true passion is bow hunting whitetail deer.  He has made it a priority to be afield as many days of the season as possible.  Within the past 5 years TJ has taken bow hunting trophy whitetail deer to a new level.  Traveling North America with his good friend Scott Swanson, TJ and Scott now film and hunt for numerous television shows.

TJ lives and breathes trophy whitetails and uses every resource possible to learn more and try to think like the world's most elusive and pursued big game animal.  He has been blessed to be able to film and hunt in some of the best areas in North America for trophy deer.  TJ will apply his experience and knowledge gained from the greatest teacher of them all, the whitetail woods, to help you find the perfect property to pursue your own dreams of the awesome whitetail deer.
